– Cruise Rodeo Drive, where you may just have star-spotting success, and shop till you drop at the fashion houses on Rodeo, upscale stores of Department Store Row, or unique boutiques on Brighton Way, Canon Drive, and South Beverly Drive.

– At Greystone Mansion and Park, ogle the Tudor Revival masterpiece and its landscaped estate (including formal English gardens).

Santa Monica Area:

The living’s easy in Santa Monica (and this isn’t just “summertime” speak); here you’ll find a thriving, 8.3-square-mile zone of sunshine and laid-back coastal culture. Head down Wilshire Boulevard and discover trendy boutique shops (especially along the Third Street Promenade), cafes, restaurants and bars, plus several popular farmers markets that set up on different days of the week. Sunsets in Santa Monica prove the perfect time to find a seat at a beachside table and drink in the pastel sunset while savoring a delicious cocktail and seafood feast.

– Stroll down the vibrant Santa Monica Pier, an ideal spot for sunsets.

– Enjoy the parks, picnic areas, and playgrounds of 3.5-mile-long Santa Monica State Beach.

– Stock up on fresh goods and mingle with local artisans at various farmers markets around town.

Westwood Village Area:

To the uninitiated, LA seems like a vast sprawl. But once you’re in the know (or have access to savvy scoop from friendly locals), the mosaic of distinct neighborhoods comes into focus. One of our absolute favorites is Westwood Village, a highly walkable community not far from LA, that offers something for everyone. It’s like UCLA’s living room, where students, professors and others shop one-off boutiques, dine in lively eateries, and celebrate life as a local in LA.
